“My mantra for this race was I belong here” shared Osmo athlete Blake Wageman in an instagram post reflecting on the Never Summer 60k race she crushed in July. “I drove to the race the night before, slept in my car, and just went for it.” (Okay, Blake. We see you!! )

Sometimes–without a plan or goal–you just want to show up and see what happens.

Despite having no knowledge of the competition or even the race course, Blake decided at the last minute to sign up, reminding herself she can tackle hard challenges–and man, did she prove it.

Not only did she finish as 3rd female (12 Overall) in a big group of talented runners, but she had fun doing it. “I had no idea what place I was in until mile 25ish and it didn’t matter. I stayed present in the moment and focused on being grateful for this gift of running.”

Team Osmo is beyond stoked to be part of Blake’s hydration and fueling strategy, which kept her feeling strong over the entire 37.3 miles. Huge congrats, Blake! You’ve inspired us to start thinking about what hard things WE can do…
